Providenca is a heritage landscape dedicated to the rich maritime heritage of the captains of Lošinj. It offers visitors interpretive walks, self-guided tours with audio guides, and adventure activities for both children and adults.
A special part of the offer is the “Picnic with the Captain” – a basket filled with dishes characteristic of the archipelago stretching out before the visitor. To help guests better understand the flavours and stories behind each dish, the interpretive brochure “Captain’s Table Pilot” was created. Through short stories, it presents the ingredients, traditions, and gastronomic heritage of the Lošinj archipelago, transforming the picnic into an authentic experience of discovering the local heritage.
